As artistic director of Bristol Choral Society, Ken and the group have performed for the Bristol community in such venues as Arts in the Park, summer community concerts, and other various local and state venues. In 2003 Ken traveled with the Bristol Choral Society to Bermuda for a 5 day concert tour. The Bristol Choral Society has traveled to the Carribean for their concertising. As a vocalist, Ken is in constant demand and has given many solo concerts for organizations in the community and state. Ken continues to coach and teach private vocal students. Ken lives with his wife Marylou in Burlington. Ken received his music degrees and training from Western Connecticut University, University of Connecticut and the University of Hartford Hartt College. Ken taught for the Bristol School system for 37 years, with twenty of those years as music department chairman. His choirs have sung for President Carter's Arts in the Park and for Pope John Paul. He has directed over 450 performances with his madrigals, show choirs and concert choirs. His choirs have performed in most of the Eastern States, and in Montreal, Quebec and Toronto Canada. His choirs achieved superior ratings by adjudicators. As director of the St. Ann Church Choir, Ken and the choir traveled in 1999 to Rome for a Papal performance. Ken has produced and directed numerous musicals and community venues. His annual talent search sponsored thru the Bristol Chamber of Commerce drew quality talent and capacity crowds. Ken is also the artistic director of the 104 voice Travelers Chorale which performs at the Bushnell Memorial in May and December.
