1st place $750.00
2nd place $500.00
Eligibility
Open to anyone 17 years of age or older who is furthering their education in musical performance or in music education at an accredited post-secondary school. The applicants must be a resident of Bristol, Wolcott, Burlington, Plymouth/Terryville, Farmington, Plainville or a BCS family member. BCS members cannot audition.
Requirements
- Preliminary Application Form
- Resume of musical background
- Three letters of recommendation (One must be from a music teacher)
- Vocal Audition/Interview . Choice of audition date is either:
Sunday, April 15th 3-6pm
Monday, April 16th 9-10pm
Application Deadline
Application, resume, and letters of recommendation must be received by 4/08/12
Audition Scheduling
Applicants will be contacted with specific audition details by 4/10/12
Notification of Winners
The 1st and 2nd place winners will be contacted by phone and must perform as soloists at the Spring Concert, May 12, 2012 (4pm) at which time the scholarship will be presented. Notification will be on 4/21/12
